Top 10 tips for Healthy Skin

Healthy, younger looking skin is what everyone dreams of. Healthy, younger looking skin is not hard to achieve. Looking after your appearance and maintaining a regular routine and healthy diet can help to give you perfect looking skin, free from spots and blemishes.
Below are 10 tips that will help you on your way to clear, beautiful skin.

1. Your outside appearance reflects what's on your inside. Maintain a healthy and balanced diet with plenty of fruits, vegetables and sunflower seeds.

2. Try and drink 6 to 8 glasses of water per day. This will help to keep your skin moist, refreshed and supple, which will help the skin fight off developing wrinkles and blemishes.

3. Moisturize! Applying moisturizer after a warm face wash or a warm shower is the best remedies for skin. Moisturizing helps to restore the oils that our skin has and helps to keep the skin hydrated.

4. Protect yourself from sun and tanning studio's. The sun and tanning studio's are the main reasons for premature aging.

5. Keep up regular exercise. Regular exercise helps to keep the skin elasticity which prevents wrinkles. Exercise is also good for your body as a whole as it helps to maintain a low amount of body fat.

6. Taking vitamins and minerals helps to keep goodness in the skin. Vitamins and minerals have been developed to help your body. By taking one multivitamin can help to keep your skin fresh and clean.

7. Try and maintain a constant sleep pattern. Sleep is the body's time to restore itself and to re-energies the body's organs and skin. By maintaining a regular sleep pattern, you will feel more energized and your skin will become more healthy and fresher looking.

8. Do not scrub and wash too hard. By doing this it removes the required oils that the skin needs to regenerate. When washing, wash lightly and in circular motion. This helps to keep the blood flow in your skin and does not allow the essential oils to escape.

9. Do not squeeze spots. Although very tempting, by squeezing spots and black heads, the disease spreads and your acne will not disappear. By not squeezing your skin can heal the spot on its own and scars will not be formed. Constant squeezing of spots will cause scarring of the skin.

10. Finally, the most important thing you can do to help achieve, younger healthier looking skin is to stop smoking or never to start. Smoking causes premature aging and yellowing of the teeth and skin. The tobacco that is released into the air dries out your skin, while the smoke you inhale constricts the flow of blood to blood vessels, therefore preventing your skin of essential nutrients that your body supplies.

How to Bleach Denim Shorts

    • How to Bleach Denim Shorts

      Lay the old towel on a flat surface, and arrange your shorts on top of it. If you want to make the front of your shorts look different than the back, insert a plastic garbage bag into the shorts so the bleach won't soak through.

    • Pour some liquid bleach into a plastic bowl. Do not use a metal bowl because bleach on metal can cause a chemical reaction.
    • Put on your gloves, and dip the sponge in the bleach. Use the sponge to dab and paint bleach patterns on the shorts. Turn the shorts over and do the other side as well.

    • Wash the shorts in a cold laundry cycle. Do not put any other clothes in the washer. Do not let the bleach sit for long on the shorts before you wash them because it can eat right through the denim fibers.
    • Let your shorts dry. If you want to make the look more dramatic, repeat the process. If you're feeling that that's not enough, use a razor and sandpaper to distress your shorts .(this will also work on jeans)


The longer you leave bleach on your short, the lighter they will get.

Hi girls. So lately I have been doing my Mascara and my eyelashes are flat! So I was looking online and I found a awesome way to get them bigger and less clumps. All you will need is an Eyelash Curler, Mascara (try to get two different kinds Normal Mascara and Voluminous Mascara),and a Blow Dryer. Now start off with your eyelash curler and blow dryer. Turn your blow dryer on and put in on warm, and then blow your eyelash curler for about 10-15 seconds. Wait until you can touch it Gently but it still has to be hot. After that curl your lashes. This is making you lashes more curly and bigger. After you're done with that apply your normal mascara and then your voluminous mascara. wait 15 minutes until they are dry. Make sure they are fully dry before this next step. If you don't have the time for this just wait 3 minutes and blow a fan or the blow dryer on cold on to your eyelashes. Next Curl your lashes again, I know people say it is bad for your lashes and will make them fall out but i have been doing it for 1 year and my eyelashes are super healthy! So curl them and do about 7 pumps by the root of your eyelash and make sure you don't pint your eyelid, then 5 pumps on the tips of the eyelashes. Do the same Mascara with the Normal and Voluminous. Let it dry and then you're done! Your lashes will be big and bold!

Tips to getting Amazing curls!

Curling tip 1: Choose the right sized iron
All curling irons were not created equal, so if you want to keep your hair healthy and achieve the look you're after, you need to know what to look for in an iron. Here is a basic rundown:
First, size them up. The barrel size you choose should be based on the look you want to achieve. If you want to create loose curls or "beachy" waves, pick an iron that is one to two inches in diameter. If you want smaller, tighter ringlets, go for a .75 to one-inch thick iron.

Curling tip 2: Choose the right heat setting for your hair
Second, know how hot to go. Your hair type should determine your heat setting, and you'll need an iron with variable heat settings in order to control it (so look for that feature at time of purchase). If your hair is fine, fragile or color treated, use a low heat setting -- below 200 degrees -- to avoid burning or damaging your hair. If you already have curly, coarse or thick hair, you can go higher -- between 200-300 degrees. As you curl your hair, notice how it responds to the heat and increase the temperature accordingly. Never go above 400 degrees though.

Curling tip 3: Prep hair properly for heat styling
you've found the iron that best suits your needs, the next crucial step to curling your hair like a pro is preparing your hair for the heat it's about to endure. Here's how to do it:
Prep: If your hair is naturally oily and limp, start by washing and conditioning with volumizing products. Then spray damp hair from roots to ends with a thermal heat protectant to prevent damage. Next, apply a strong-hold mousse like Rene Furterer Structuring Mousse on your roots (for a fuller look) or from mid-shaft to ends (for a looser, softer look). Blow dry hair upside down with your hands until hair is completely dry.

Curling tip 4: How to get bouncy curls
Now that you know how to properly prep your hair, here is how Moticka says to get bouncy, tight curls that last (if that's an issue for you).
Start by dividing and clipping your dry hair into manageable sections. Of course, the more hair you have and the thicker it is, the more sections you'll need to create. Working from the nape of your neck up first, grab a one-inch section and comb through it. Pick up the section at the ends and mist with a light-hold hairspray to create lift. If your iron is a spring barrel iron (meaning it has a clamp) clamp hair at the ends and roll up until it is completely around the barrel. If you are working with a clamp-less iron, wrap a section around the barrel starting at the roots. Hold hair on the iron for 10-20 seconds. Continue working in sections until your entire head is curled. Finish by gently fingercombing curls and misting entire head with hairspray.
If your hair has a hard time holding a curl, once you release the section from the iron, roll it back up on your fingers and secure with duckbill clip. If you are concerned about creating weird clip marks around your hairline, place a small piece of tissue paper (or toilet paper) between the clip and your hair. Leave hair in clips until your entire head is finished and hair is completely cooled. Then you can release and fingercomb.

Curling tip 5: How to get loose, flowing waves
Start by sectioning and clipping dry hair into diagonal sections, which will give hair a softer look, says Moticka. Grab a two-inch section of hair and comb through it. Lift up the section from the ends and mist with light-hold hairspray to create lift. Then carefully wrap the hair in a spiral manner around the barrel of the iron (from roots to the tips), pointing the iron downward toward the floor. Let hair sit on iron for 10-20 seconds, holding the ends tightly around the barrel the entire time. Release hair and mist section lightly with hairspray. Continue until your entire head is curled.
For more glam, softer waves, brush through curls with a natural bristle brush. To get a piece-y, beachy feel, simply shake out the curls with your hands.

How to Grow your hair 3-4 inches in 1 week!!

Hi girls it's Carly.I just got a bad haircut that was to short! So i looked online and I found this! Try it! It does work.

So First off you will need:
*a glass or microwave proof cup
*olive oil
* a microwave

Got that? Okay now This is what you do:

1. Put whatever the amount is of olive oil to cover you whole head and put it in the cup.

2. Put the cup in the Microwave for 10 seconds or less (REMEMBER: if the oil is to hot you hair may fall out so make sure its touchable and slightly warm).

3. Apply Olive Oil to roots and ends.

4. This sounds silly but keep your head upside down for 4 minutes. 

5. After those 4 minutes sit up and keep the Olive Oil in for 2 hours.

6. Last but not least Wash the Oil OUT! it may take a while to get it all out but it will get out soon enough!

There you're done! now do that for a Week and your hair will grow 3-4 inches:)
I did do it and only for 3 days because of swimming and it grew a 1 inch to a 1 inch in a half! So it does work!!You will be surprised!

Birthday Craft

Hey, Martyna here.(: So I have realized, that so many people on Stardoll are going to have birthdays in a few days. That reminded about this crafting book I bought. It has different kinds of paper inside there to use for crafting. Now, most of you should know that I absoulutley LOVE art and crafting, So I'm a real crafty person.
I have tried to get a picture up, but it won't work. So I went on youtube and looked for great birthday craft videos. This should help if a birthday is coming up.(:

I found that video really cool and helpful. So hopefully, if a birthday or any special occassion is coming up, it will  help.(: It's so cute, how it's edible!

I know this wasn't about Stardoll. There are no freebies, sorry. And I have so many different emotions on me, I am going back to London tomorrow, I have had an amazing time here in Poland. I will cry, I know. I am such a soft but strong person. Stardoll is an amazing escape for me, to meet goof friends. Thank you so much to all my friends, especially Kayci. Kayci, your an amazing friend, I literally LOVE you! You are so kind!(: Well, I need to go and pack upstairs. I'll post again the day after tomorrow, because tomorrow I will be arriving in London. Tips to make your hair grow faster

Here are my 10 tips to make your hair grow faster!

1. Practice Good Hair Habits

If you want to have your hair grow faster, you need healthy hair. Good hair habits will help you avoid damaging your hair and keep it healthy.
Here some good practices:
Use a brush with natural boar bristles.                                        
  1. Don't braid or put your hair in a ponytail when it is still wet.
  2. Avoid chemical treatmentssuch as bleaching, perms, coloring or highlighting.
  3. Minimize heat styling with things such as hot combs, hair dryers and curling irons.
  4. Although the best thing to do, is to avoid using heat styling, it is still important to dry your hairs roots after washing it. I learnt this with a specialized doctor. The roots of our hair take a long time to dry whenever we wash it, between 2 and 3 days actually. Therefore, it is extremely important to dry it with a hair dryer. Do not forget the important thing to is, is to dry your hairs roots, not the ends. If you leave the ends wet, is no big deal.

2. Maintain a healthy diet

Eating well and healthy is really important. You must eat lots of fruits and vegetables. You should also do a diet based on proteins. Since hair is protein, a diet that is too low in protein may cause some thinning hair or a retardation in the growth cycle. For instance, fish, eggs, beans or yogurt, are filled with protein. Soy protein has also been found to be helpful in stimulating hair growth.
Remember, beauty comes from the inside. In a way, you are what you eat. If you feed yourself lots of healthy nourishing foods your body will reflect this.

3. Flaxseed oil

Flax Seed Oil is a blue flowering plant that is grown on the Western Canadian Prairies for its oil rich seeds. This natural oil is highly recommended for the general well being and whole body nutrition. It is anatural acids source that are essential to keep our body healthy.
They are also good for the heart, reducing the risk of coronary heart disease. The recommended daily dose for most people is at least1,000 mg taken one to three times daily.
Therefore, if you don't eat much fish, you must take the Flax Seed Oil supply in order to help your body having all the vitamins you need and consequently speed up your hairs growth.

4. Keep it trimmed!

To cut your split end is very important. When you ignore split ends, it ends up leaving you with shorter hair due to breakage.
Damage to your hair will move up from the ends and the only way to stop it in its tracks is to remove it as soon as it happens.
Do not forget the hair starts growing for the root, not the ends. Therefore, whenever the split ends are cut, your hair follicle is working less to repair split, dead ends and working more in the root. If you cut the ends frequently, your hair willgrow faster and healthier. Trust me, it's true!
It's always easy to talk though. It's hard to put it into action. I hate having to trim my hair when I have worked so hard on making it long! But it's a need that will bring good results in a long term time. Just be patient and you will see!

5. Massage the scalp

Always give yourself a scalp massage. You will want to massage your hair at least three times a week, use the tips of your hands and firmly massage your scalp. Make sure you cover the entire head. With a good scalp massage you increased blood circulation which enriches skin with essential nutrients and oxygen.
After a massage actively circulating blood brings the nutrients to hair follicles. Besides, massage helps to relax and improves the strength of the roots.

6. Don’t wash your hair every day

I know it sounds disgusting, but washing your hair too often pulls the strands, damages the scalp, and rids your hair of the natural oils essential for growing long, thick hair. You must allow the hair oils to condition your hair rather than constantly washing the oils out.
After a while, your hair will be trained, and it won't look as dirty as it looked before, and the washes will last longer. There's plenty of videos on youtube of beauty gurus that teach you the best way to train your hair.
The ideal, would be to wash your hair between 2 or 3 times a week, maximum. You'll see it will get shinier and healthier.

7. Comb after wash it - Dont Brush it

Comb through your hair with a wide toothed comb right when you turn off your shower water when it is still soaking wet. It's much better for detangles your hair super quickly. This way you are struggling afterward or having to attack your hair with a brush. Using a brush on wet hair can break the strands you have worked so hard to protect.
Use a wide-toothed comb and comb your hair in a slow motion.
Additionally, avoid pulling your hair tightly especially for women who are fond of ponytails, braids, cornrows and clips.

8. Always Use Heat Protect
Applying a heat protectant spray when using heated styling tools is very important.
Heat protectant is something I often forget to use, but it is really important to protect your strands against damage. If you protect your hair from the time it is a baby hair at your root it will have a long and happy lifespan, and be able to grow much longer than if you abuse it for years.
An occasional deep conditioning or reconstructing treatment will help restore your hair to its prime condition. It's also a good idea to treat your hair before and after any chemical processes.

10. Reduce Stress

Finally, we all know stress ain't good for our health. Stress can cause a variety of health problems, so it should be no surprise that it also affects the hair. Excessive stress will slow down your hair's growth rate and it will make it weaker, turning it extremely more vulnerable to breaks.
Some stress-reducing techniques are deep breathing, regular exercise, mediation, yoga, or enjoying a hobby or recreational activity such as reading, cooking, or gardening
Is very important to reduce your stress level as much as you can to get a hair and life more healthy
