Halloween Costume Makeup-Stardoll

Hello readers. From the colors around this post, you can probably notice that Sassy Magazine is experiencing a Halloween makeover. Most posts will be about Halloween makeup, costumes, etc.

So, anyways. This costume makeup is inspired by a mermaid.

Sorry, I had a few glitches with the video. I hope to get better!

What do you think of the video?
Suggestions, comments?

Celebrity look a like

Hey guys!

How's school going?
First of all I'm sorry for not posting anything these 2 weeks, it's my fault. School started and I swear I've never been so dissorganised in my life. So much to do in such a little time!

Anyway, this week I picked a simple outfit by Mandy Moore. We haven't heard anything new for her these days but we all remember her at "A walk to remember" right?

That's all :)

See ya next week!

So cute!

Hi, Martyna here.(: This isn't something I usually post about, but I wanted to show you something really cute! Now, I don't know about you, but I'm in LOVE with cats and kittens. If you hate them... your an idiot.(; That was a joke by the way, but seriously, how can you hate cats? Anyway, so heres the cute cat video. Remember to post about what you think of the video!

Cute, huh?

What do you see in the mirror?

This is a different post, but, enjoy anyway!

So, I tried making a poll, but the idiot site I'm using doesn't let me. So, this is how things work:
You just say: a), b), c), d) or e) in a comment (STRICTLY ANONYMOUS!!!) and let's see the results.
Here comes the poll question:

When I look at me in the mirror I see....
a) A young and fit person!
b) An ugly, fat person
c) Someone so ordinary, no one special
e) I need to lose weight

Don't judge anyone or laugh if they
say they think they are hot!
That is why, no one knows anyone's answer.
Let's just do this to clear some things out. :)
Have fun!

Let The Holiday Season Begin...soon?

Hello my lovelies! I hope you all are enjoying your school year, and are doing well in all of your classes! I'm sorry, most of us-including myself-have gotten caught up in school. Anyways, do you know what's coming up soon? ...No, I don't mean the weekend...think harder! Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanza!

I can't wait to begin makeup, nails, and DIY (Do It Yourself) Halloween tutorials!

I will start my posts with Halloween as the holiday comes near, but my followers...remain in fear.
Well, that was cheesy!

Anyways, to kick off the season, I would like to let all readers, writers, and followers to know that the blog will be having a halloween/spooky makeover coming soon, and know that anyone who wants to write can! Writers, prepare to add some spookiness to your writing ;)

For the time being, check out these awesome videos!

For some people, freckles are a very touchy and embarrassing subject. While some people spot freckles in early childhood, others may notice that they develop more of these skin spots over the years. Here are some of the things that you should know about how you get freckles and the steps which can help to prevent them.

Causes of Freckles

Genetics are one of the most common causes of freckles. Some people are born with a certain gene that causes freckles. These people will generally notice the skin spots during their childhood or teenage years. Most people with this gene have fair complexions and a reddish hair color. When the cause of freckles is genetic, they cannot be prevented.

Exposure to UV rays from the sun or tanning beds can also cause an increase in freckles. For people who already have freckles, UV rays may cause more of these skin spots. Some people may only ever notice freckles after they have spent hours sunbathing. People who have fair complexions and have difficulty tanning are at the greatest risk of developing freckles due to UV ray exposure. The good news is that it is possible to prevent freckles caused by the sun or tanning beds.

Preventing Freckles

The best way to not get freckles due to UV ray exposure is to avoid spending time in the sun without protection. Everyone who spends time outdoors, at any time of the year, should use a sunscreen with at least 15 SPF to reduce the risk of skin cancer. People with fair complexions should opt for a sun block with a higher SPF, such as Banana Boat Sport Sunblock Lotion, SPF 50, $9.76, at Amazon.com.

If you're a sun goddess and don't want to give up tanning, consider other options. Many salons offer spray tans, which are ideal if you want a sun-kissed glow for an upcoming event. There are also many self-tanning lotions on the market to choose from, such as Dove Energy Glow Shimmering Lotion for All Skin Tones, $5.49, at Amazon.com. These products are another ideal option for sunless tanning.

Any time you get freckles, it's ideal to visit a dermatologist. Although these spots are often harmless, any change in the skin can indicate skin cancer or pre-cancer. Since early detection plays a key role in treating skin cancer, it's important to always pay
attention to your skin. Finally, remember that freckles are no reason to be ashamed. Some of the most beautiful celebrities, such as Megan Fox and Alexis Bledel, have freckles.

Remember to be yourself and love it!!! xoxo Carly/FamousWolf
