‘Bad Romance’ Tops 400 Million YouTube Views

Lady Gaga’s music video for “Bad Romance” today reached 400 million views on YouTube.
“Bad Romance” was directed by Francis Lawrence and released as the first video from The Fame Monster. “I knew Francis’ ability as a director is so much higher than what I could do,” said Gaga. “There’s this one shot in the video where I get kidnapped by supermodels. I’m washing away my sins and they shove vodka down my throat to drug me up before they sell me off to the Russian mafia.”
The video, which is arguably Gaga’s best work to date, received 7 MTV Video Music Awards, including best female video, best pop video and video of the year, and a Grammy for best short for music video, becoming one of the most awarded clips in history.

LA Reid allegedly demands only good-looking people work at his record label

US X Factor judge LA Reid is giving Simon Cowell a run for his money in the "Mr Nasty" stakes, according to US reports. Reid, who famously dumped Lady Gaga from his old record label Island/Def Jam — because he reportedly didn't "get" her music — has been accused of telling staff at his new label that he "doesn't want anyone ugly to work there". Sources told the New York Post that Reid allegedly told executives at Epic Records, which is owned by Sony Music Entertainment: "I don't want no ugly people working here; I only want good-looking people." Now some critics are predicting that Reid will be a "horror show" on the US talent show. "He'll definitely be meaner than Simon Cowell," a source told the New York Post. Meanwhile, a representative for US X Factor said: "The excitement certainly continues to grow for X Factor. We love LA [Reid], and he's fantastic on camera." Of his "ugly people" comment, a Reid source said: "There is no way he said that", adding that the comment was "completely made-up" by someone with an agenda. A Sony rep declined to comment.

Lady Gagas relationship with on-off boyfriend is a Bad Romance, claims ex-lover

The ex-lover of Lady Gaga's on-off boyfriend Lüc Carl says the singer could be set for further heartbreak. In an exclusive interview with Star magazine, Alex Stebbins claims the New York barman dumped her, so that he could rekindle his six-year romance with the pop megastar. According to Stebbins, the pair originally broke up because of Carl's lack of commitment. "After being together for so long, she [Gaga] was saying, 'I love you' — but he never did. That was her biggest problem. She loved him and wanted it reciprocated, but he wasn't ready," claims the 25-year-old musician. The Bad Romance singer, who is rumoured to have recently reunited with her 30-year-old ex, has made no secret of her feelings for him in the past and wrote her hit track, Yoü And I, about their tumultuous relationship. But according to Stebbins, Carl found it difficult to show his emotions. "The more she wanted him to say it, the less he wanted to. It got to the stage where their relationship was pretty dysfunctional and explosive. Their relationship is toxic," she tells the US magazine.
