Sometimes, "AH-CHOO!" is all it takes. I don't know about all of you, but for me this winter has been BRUTAL! For all of you lucky people near the equator, you have no idea what it is like to deal with colds, and flu's for 3 months straight.
Thank God, Winter is over in 16 days, but who knows...March could be just as bad, but I think this year, (where I live) March will be welcoming warm weather with new possibilities, and spring cleaning.
Now, how can you get away from the winter blues before it's too late? This post will give you some easy tips to follow to avoid getting sick.
1.) WASH YOUR HANDS! I don't know how much I hear this. In my school, teachers can't stress this enough! Last year, one of my teachers made me go to the bathroom to wash my hands just for sneezing! But, they're right. If you're in school, at work, or even at a party always make sure you have a mini hand sanitatizer in your purse, but remember soap and water is always the best way to keep germs out of your body.
2.) DON'T SHARE DRINKS/FOOD! I don't know how stupid people can really be! All over, people in my school share drinks and food. And they question themselves when they get mono... As long as you have common sense, avoid sharing drinks, and keep your name on your water bottle.
3.) Cover your nose/mouth. If you are coughing and sneezing a lot make sure you sneeze into a tissue and cough into your own arm. Coughing or sneezing in your hands can be okay if you wash your hands after, but if you cant..don't.
Even though this post is random, I thought I should share my thoughts!
